Alaska Mission for Christ
The purpose is to proclaim the gospel to every community in Alaska. Alaska is the size of seven Minnesota’s, yet less than 20 percent of Alaskans claim church membership. Each summer a group led by Family of Christ visits this area with the light of Christ’s path to life.
Mission India
This mission works toward the development of a self-sustaining indigenous church (church planting).
Trinity First Lutheran School
Located in the inner city of Minneapolis, Trinity First provides a quality Christ-centered education as well as additional support programs for students in preschool through 8th grade. At Trinity, more than 80 percent of the students qualify for free and reduced meals and many families are able to pay only ten percent of the actual tuition cost. Our mission offering will assist the Trinity First Scholarship Fund to help students pay for this program.

Adopt-a-people –Maninka
The Maninka people are an unreached people group. They are the second largest people group found in Guinea, West Africa. Guinea was a Marxist country from 1964 – 1984, and few missionaries were allowed in during this time. The Maninka has mosques in most of their villages and in each neighborhood, and searches for help with the ‘spirits.’ Fear is a real part of their lives, and making a living is equally challenging.
Though the Maninka knows little about their Muslim religion, they are fervent about following their passed on laws. Becoming a Christian can bring much persecution. But we know that the light of Christianity is ultimately what will give them eternal peace.
Long-term missionaries: Andrea (LCMS World Mission), Suzanne (Tashkent Learning Center), Drew (World Mission Prayer League), Matt and Angie and family (Central Asia).
Church-worker students Scholarships
